Our motto is "Gymnastics should be fun!".

Voimisteluseura Helsinki was founded in 1997. We have a wide range of groups in four different sports: artistic gymnastics, trampoline gymnastics, parkour and cheerleading. Our age range is from 3 year old to adults. Our goal is to be the leading gymnastics club in men's artistic gymnastics and have a significant role in women's artistic gymnastics.

Our motto is "Gymnastics should be fun!".

In our groups we value learning and joy. It is more important to try and have fun doing gymnastics than to focus only on the end results. We have accomplised our goals if the children enjoyed their class and can't wait to come back the next time.

Coaching is growing:

Our motto is:

  • holistic coaching, tricks and social skills

  • everyone is allowed to participate according to their own abilities, individual development is supported

  • playfulness overcomes performance pressures

Gymnastics is the best form for basic exercise

Gymnastics is a basic form of exercise that everyone should try and practice. Gymnastics develops the musculature in a varied and even way. In addition, gymnastics offers experiences that are difficult to get elsewhere. Postures and movements make gymnastics unique. Gymnastics develops holistically. All parts of the body are put to the test and develop in many ways. Different movements and stretches increase the participants self-knowledge and at the same time helps them to develop a realistic and positive self-image.
